Beth Read holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Oregon State University and has over 30 years in science-related fields. Her career has included both private industry and regulatory work. Ms. Read owned an environmental laboratory in Oregon where she worked with both the drinking water and wastewater industries and regulatory officials. In 2022 Beth joined RCAC and provides training and technical assistance to water and wastewater operations throughout the western part of the US.

She enjoys sharing her knowledge with operators, both in and out of the laboratory, and has presented at a variety of water and wastewater related conferences in Oregon.
