Bret Heath
Bret Heath has over forty years of experience spanning the full range of municipal public works including direct responsible charge for drinking water and wastewater systems. He is a Washington certified water distribution manager and cross-connection control specialist.
His career has given him extensive experience with design, construction, and maintenance of municipal water, wastewater, street and stormwater systems and associated maintenance equipment; and provided him with the perspective that comes from working in the field to running a public works department and working with City Councils.
He organized and maintained a municipal all-hazards emergency management program and lead the effort to pass legislation establishing the Washington Mutual Aid System (WAMAS).
Bret is now retired from municipal work and, in addition to enjoying time with his family, has joined Professional Training Association as a part-time instructor.
