In this 7 hour In-Person “BOD Test Procedures” workshop we will discuss the principles of the BOD analysis, how to set up the test, and QC requirments. We will also explore common problems, troubleshooting, and corrective action procedures to help you get accurate and reliable BOD results.

We will also bring you up to date with the changes to the analytical method, Method 5210B, that came about with the newly approved Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, 23rd Ed. 2016 and what that means for you in the lab.

• Sample preparation requirements
• Dilution water preparation
• Blanks
• Seed material and expectations
• QC requirements
• Glucose-Glutamic Acid Standard
• Toxicity
