This 3 hour live online “Introduction to Centrifugal Pump Components & Operation” workshop you will become familiar with the parts typically found in centrifugal pumps, their purpose, and how they work. During this class we will:
- Identify centrifugal pump components common to typical pump configurations found in the water and wastewater industry.
- Discuss materials typically used in pump components.
- Explore typical pump configurations and component locations.
- Explain the basic principles of centrifugal pump operation.
This class is part of our “mechanical series” of classes.
