Tertiary Wastewater Treatment

This 3 hour “ Introduction to Tertiary Wastewater Treatment” live online training will discuss the advanced wastewater treatment processes applied in tertiary treatment operations.

Tertiary treatment of wastewater usually includes a variety of additional treatment steps after secondary treatment to further reduce organics, turbidity, nitrogen, phosphorus, metals, pathogens as well as many contaminants associated with pharmaceuticals and personal care products. Most treatment processes involve coagulation, filtration, activated carbon adsorption of organics, reverse osmosis, and additional disinfection.

This live online “Introduction to Tertiary Wastewater Treatment” workshop will provide you with an understanding of the principles and processes applied in tertiary wastewater treatment. This class is also accepted as training towards obtaining or maintaining your wastewater operator certification.
