Many water and wastewater operations perform a variety of water quality testing for process control and / or regulatory compliance. This workshop will provide information on how to perform 11 of the most commonly applied test procedures in the lab as well as in the field.

In this 7 hour IN-PERSON “pH, Alkalinity, Hardness, Chlorine, Turbidity, and Solids Test Procedures” workshop we will discuss how to perform pH, alkalinity, hardness, chlorine, turbidity, and solids analyses. The instructor will explain the equipment, procedure, and QC requirements of each analysis. We will also point out commonly encountered problems, explore troubleshooting procedures, and discuss QC Charting.

 

We will address:

  • Sample holding times
  • Instrument calibration
  • QC requirements
  • Documentation requirements
