“Process Control” is a big topic and successful process control requires in depth knowledge of many different areas of wastewater collection and treatment. This workshop will provide you with practical information on what to monitor and how to fine tune your treatment process. We will focus on everyday operations activities and how you can make changes to improve operational efficiency and effluent quality.
In this “Process Control: how to use lab data to monitor and troubleshoot your treatment process” workshop we will:
- explain how to interpret lab results for tests like TSS, VSS, BOD, microscopy, nutrients, etc. and what they mean for your treatment process
- discuss how you can use lab data to monitor the performance of your treatment process
- explore how to decide which test to request to get the answers you need to fine tune or troubleshoot your operation
- identify which location and time is best to collect a sample for the purpose you have in mind
