Info about registration, online meeting invitations, and certificates

What happens when we receive a registration? – Anyone signing up for our online classes receives three (four if the registration fee is paid with a credit card) emails.

  • The first one is system generated. As soon as you sign up for the class, you receive a registration confirmation
  • If you paid with a credit card you will also receive a separate system generated payment confirmation message
  • The next email message will be sent one or two days before the class and contains the info about how to join the class. This message is also system generated and, depending on how your email system is set up, the sender of this message will be displayed as “Professional Training Association”, “Cisco Webex”, or “messenger@webex.com” ,. The “Subject” line of this message should read: “Webex Meeting Invitation: ‘Title of the class you registered for’ “.
  • The last message will be manually sent out by one of us here in the office and contains copies of the presentation and other supporting documents if applicable. Depending on how your email system is set up, the sender of this message will be displayed as “Professional Training Association” or “professionaltrainingassoc@gmail.com” or . This message will also be sent out one or two days prior of the actual class.

 

If you cannot locate these messages in your inbox, we recommend checking your spam, junk, and trash folders, since some systems will place messages there without the recipient’s knowledge. If you cannot find these messages in your system at all, we suggest you contact your IT department and ask them to “Whitelist” all of our email addresses. It is important for you to be able to receive email messages from all of these accounts since the various messages, invitations, confirmations, certificates, etc. are generated and emailed by different people and systems. When will I receive my certificate of completion?

We typically email the certificate of completion within two weeks following the completion of the class. We are aiming for earlier rather than later but sometimes we get busy and it may take us a little longer. You are always welcome to send us a message or call to check on the status of your certificate.

When will my CEUs / Training Credits get reported to the state agencies?

We typically submit the necessary paperwork to the state agencies within two weeks following the completion of the class. Please keep in mind that once a state agency receives the information, we have no control over how long it takes them to enter that information into their database. It may be helpful to know that many state agencies have to manually enter every record into their database.

Please be assured that you NEVER lose CEUs for classes you took with us.
