Andrew Silveria is a Senior Operator at the Sumner/Bonney Lake Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility and currently holds a Group IV Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certification in Washington State.

Mr. Silveria also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration from Liberty University as well as an Undergraduate Certificate in Wastewater Treatment Plant Operation from California State University, Sacramento.

Prior to his career in wastewater treatment, Mr. Silveria was employed as a police officer with the City of Sumner Police Department for thirteen years. During his time as a police officer, Mr. Silveria took on additional duty as a collision reconstructionist and extra employment as a driver’s education instructor and gained extensive experience in practical instruction and applied mathematics.

Before becoming a police officer, Mr. Silveria served four years in the United States Army as a machinist, and then another four years as an Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Technician. While serving as an EOD technician, Mr. Silveria was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
