Victor Santa Cruz has a Bachelor of Science from California State Polytechnic University and extensive experience as a Laboratory Technician and Biologist in wastewater laboratories. Victor retired from 30 year career as a Biologist with Inland Empire Utilities Agency in Ontario, CA.

In addition to his laboratory experience in wastewater treatment operations, Victor has created a “Wastewater Organism Database”, employing high quality photomicrographs, videos, and narration to explain biological, ecological, morphological, and operational information related to wastewater organisms and treatment.

Victor also volunteers his expertise and provides technical assistance and advice to wastewater and water operations worldwide.

On a more local basis, Victor has presented at a variety of conferences and instructed workshops sharing his knowledge and expertise in microbiology and its application in process control. As part of his knowledge sharing efforts he also established a social media outlet for wastewater personnel via LinkedIn.
