This 7 hour IN-PERSON “All about Valves used in Water & Wastewater” workshop will offer a broad overview of the types of valves used in the treatment of water and wastewater.

During this workshop we will:

• provide you with a basic understanding of the how the various types of valves work
• spell out how to identify most common valves, valve actuators, and their intended purpose
• explain how valves are operated via SCADA using a valve actuator
• discuss:
  

• water hammer
• friction loss
• valve coefficient
