This 7 hour IN-PERSON “All about Valves used in Water & Wastewater” workshop will offer a broad overview of the types of valves used in the treatment of water and wastewater.
During this workshop we will:
- provide you with a basic understanding of the how the various types of valves work
- spell out how to identify most common valves, valve actuators, and their intended purpose
- explain how valves are operated via SCADA using a valve actuator
- discuss:
- water hammer
- friction loss
- valve coefficient
