In this 3 hour “Current & Emerging Concerns in Water & Wastewater” online workshop we will explore current and emerging concerns as they relate to both drinking water and wastewater. We will introduce you to the historical background of current regulations and discuss current as well as emerging concerns encountered by water & wastewater operations. Furthermore, we will discuss regulatory tools used by the EPA, such as the Contaminant Candidate List (CCL) and Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR).
During this workshop we will address:
- PFAS
- Cyanotoxins
- Microplastics
- Viruses
- Naturally occurring toxins
- Micropollutants
- Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products (PPCPs)
- Method Update Rule (MUR)
