Working in one of these treatment plants you quickly realize that process control and troubleshooting are essential skills to successfully operate the WWTP.
In this 3 hour LIVE ONLINE “Wastewater Process Control, Optimization, & Troubleshooting” workshop we will discuss commonly encountered problems, solutions, and steps to optimize your treatment process, especially as they relate to microbial activities.
While this class focuses on the use of microscopic examination and microbial process control, we will also review traditional troubleshooting tools as well as innovative, state of the art approaches, such as DNA sequencing.
We will address:
- Bulking
- Pin floc
- Denitrification
- Dispersed growth
- Limited nutrients
